Post-Matric Scholarship to SC Girl Students
The post-matric scholarship to SC girl students (Bhagwan Budhdh Scholarship) is designed to facilitate SC girls who wish to pursue diploma-level courses after completing standard 10 or 12.

Scope for Post-Matric Scholarship to SC Girl Students
The objective is to increase the enrollment of SC/ST girl students in post-matric academics.
Two groups have been formed to disburse post-matric scholarship to SC girl students.
Group-1: Maintenance and academic expenses will be covered for scheduled caste families with an income between ₹ 2.5 lakh to ₹ 6.0 lakh.
Group-2: Tuition and non-refundable fees will be covered for tribal families with an income more than ₹ 6.0 lakh, under the post-matric scholarship to SC girl students.
Eligibility Criteria for Post-Matric Scholarships to SC Girl Students
The following criteria must be met to avail post-matric scholarships to SC girl students.
- Female students of scheduled castes
- Completed standard 10 or 12 with at least 50% in the final examination
- Should be seeking admission to diploma or graduate-level courses
- Family income in between 2.50 to 6.0 lakhs annually or more
- Also, full fill Government of India’s, post-SSC scholarship scheme guidelines
Scholarship Rates
The academic allowance, group wise at following rates will be awarded to successful students.

Group A: Degree and post-graduate level professional courses
Group B: Other professional courses leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate
Group C: Graduate and post-graduate courses not covered under groups A & B
Group D: All post-matric (standard 10) non-degree courses
Additional Allowances
Approved tuition fee and other fees are also admissible along with above group wise scholarships
The disability allowance can also be availed additionally
The allowance is subject to budgetary provisions for the current financial year and the grant released by the finance department.
The expenditure will be made as prescribed by Government and latest circulars.
The grant allotted shall not be utilized for any other purpose.

Instructions
As the application process is online, review the required documents on the portal. Ensure the soft copies are clear and avoid uploading unnecessary documents.
Application Process
The students have to apply directly from the Digital Gujarat Scholarship portal. The registration at the portal is mandatory to avail various services including scholarships. At the portal students can also check online status of their application. Students can also upload their documents in digital locker for safety and online availability of their documents that can be downloaded at any place remotely.
Mode of Payment
The students will receive their scholarship reward directly into their bank account after successful approval from the competent authority. During registration process, Aadhaar linked bank accounts information will be collected so that the payments through the Aadhaar Payment Bridge can be made through DBT.
The Government has allowed alternate methods if Aadhaar authentication fails for any student. The student will be allowed to prove his identity through any means so that no one can be deprived of their scholarship benefits.
Implementing Office
The post-matric scholarship to SC girl students is managed by the District Deputy Director of Schedule Caste Welfare, Government of Gujarat in addition to other Digital Gujarat Scholarships.
