For a successful scholarship application submission, avoiding mistakes and increasing the chances of getting the grant approval is essential. Following instructions must be kept in mind before submitting an online fellowship application.
- Photograph of the applicant is mandatory for the completion of profile at the Digital Gujarat portal
- Applications must be complete in all respects to avoid rejection
- The requirement of soft copies of documents must be strictly followed
- Any wrong information which came in notice at any stage will lead to rejection of application
- Scanning of documents must be carefully done as per instructions provided at portal
- The application cannot be edited once submitted
- Oversized documents cannot be uploaded
- Unclear documents may lead to rejection of application
- Only online application will be entertained, no manual submitting is permitted

How to Check Status of Your Scholarship Application?
You can track your application status online, by simply following these steps.
- Step 1: Visit the Digital Gujarat Portal at www.digitalgujarat.gov.in
- Step 2: Click on Login button and provide username, password and captcha
- Step 3: After login, click Scholarship button
- Step 4: In Service Request Section, under the status tag, your application status will be displayed.
- Your application status will be one of following
- Received by the Principal of the institution (That means the online application is submitted by the Principal)
- Blank/no status (That means your application is in progress)
- Application pending at office level
- Querry by the authority (Some clarification or document required by the authority so upload the information as desired)
- Reject: Application close/cancel by citizen

What is mode of Scholarship Payment Digital Gujarat ?
Mode of Payment: The payment will be made into the student’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), avoiding intermediaries as per guidelines by the Government of India.
After How Much Time I Will Get My Scholarship Payment ?
Time to receive funds: The funds are disbursed within one month after approval of the scholarship. However, If your scholarship has a state government share, it will be disbursed in two installments.
Why My Scholarship Payment Not Received ?
Common Issues: In case of non-receipt of payment, check the status of your application as discussed above and take appropriate action.
Bank Account activity: Please maintain your account according to the bank’s guidelines to prevent it from becoming dormant. Inactive accounts may hinder DBT payments.

How to Change Mobile Number in Digital Gujarat Scholarship ?
After logging in as a School User or Institution User on the Digital Gujarat State Portal, follow these steps:
- Click on the Help option located at the top right corner.
- Select “Update the Principal’s Name and Mobile Number”.
- A pop-up will appear for OTP verification. If you do not receive the OTP, click on the Resend option.
- Once the OTP is verified, an option titled “Update Principal Name and Mobile Number as per SSA” will be enabled on the screen.
- Click this option to update the mobile number and/or principal’s name.
- Press the Update button to save your changes.
