Uniform Assistance to SC Students |3 Pairs of Uniforms
The uniform assistance program for scheduled caste students was launched to provide three pairs of school uniforms to families unable to afford them. This financial support aims to encourage students to take an active interest in their studies. For many families belonging to backward communities, purchasing school uniforms is a significant challenge.
This scholarship scheme has been introduced to offer financial aid to scheduled caste students, enabling them to continue their education with neat and clean new uniforms. Eligibility Criteria | Uniform Assistance to SC Students
To receive assistance for three pairs of uniforms, the following criteria are mandatory:
- Students from Scheduled Caste community
- Students of class 1 to 8
- Studying in Private Schools on Government/Grant in Aid school/Ashram school
- No income limit
Document Requirements
The following documents are required with the scholarship application:
- Passport size photograph (softcopy)
- Caste Certificate from competent authority
- Income Certificate from the competent authority (Form No. 16 is required for Govt. employees)
- Cancelled cheque book leaf /First page of Bank Passbook
- Mark sheets
- School leaving certificate (If any)
- Proof of Residency
- Fee receipt (If any)
- Hostel certificate (If any)
- Break Affidavit (If any)
- Disability certificate (If any)
- Leave without pay certificate (For employee’s students only) (If applicable)
- Death certificate of father (If applicable)
- Other marksheet (If any)
- Identity card (College/School)
Scholarship Amount
The assistance will be provided for three pairs of school uniform.

Application Process
The students who meet the above criteria should submit the application to the school administration along with relevant documents. The school administration will have to submit the proposal of all applications regarding this scheme online at Digital Gujarat Portal.

Payment Method
Each student is required to open a bank account, as the payment under this scheme is directly made to student’s bank account through DBT.
