Private Coaching Support General Stream (11th-12th Grade)

Private coaching support general stream for SC students in the 11th-12th (Standards) has been started to uplift scheduled castes to encourage them to pursue higher education. This initiative will help students who can’t afford the expenses of higher education and are falling behind in education. The government will provide additional support in the shape of private coaching they need to compete in upcoming exams.

It has been observed that various scheduled caste students are reluctant to continue their higher education after standard 10, due to most competitive studies that require high merit. To compete in this scenario, students of the SC community further require private coaching to cover their study gaps, and that financial impact forces them to leave their studies.

Eligibility Criteria: Private Coaching Support General Stream

Students belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) community
Students studying in standard 11 to 12 General Stream
Secured 75% or more marks in standard 10/matric
Students who failed in standard 11th will not be eligible for the second time.
Income Limit 4.5 lakh

Proof of Private Tuition/Coaching

The proof of taking tuition in a private tuition class or with a private teacher has to be submitted.

Assistance Details

The scholarship (Private Coaching Support to SC students in the 11th-12th grade for the general Stream) provides the following benefits to meet the tuition fee for private coaching:

The expenditure shall be within the limits of the budgetary provisions for the year and the grand allotted by the Finance Department.

Application Process

The students must apply for the Private Coaching Support to SC Students in the 11th-12th grade of the general stream at the District Director/Deputy Director of Schedule Caste Welfare office, Government of India.

• The application form for the scholarship can be collected from concerned Scheduled Caste Welfare office
• The duly filled form along with mandatory documents will be submitted to the concerned office.

Implementing Office

The Private Coaching Support for SC students in the 11th-12th standard of the General Stream under the Digital Gujarat Scholarship is managed by the Director of Schedule Caste Welfare, Government of Gujarat/concerned district.
