Loan Assistance for Pilot Training to Scheduled Caste Students
The loan assistance for the pilot training scheme has been launched by the government of Gujarat to support financially weak families from scheduled caste communities, encouraging their participation in pilot training programs.

Objective | Loan Assistance for Pilot Training
The training of pilots is expensive and requires consistent efforts, the scheduled caste community students could not accomplish the training due to financial hurdles. The government introduces loan assistance for pilot training to encourage the SC community to take interest in the training.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should meet the following criteria to be eligible for the load assistance for pilot training.
- Should be a resident of Gujarat
- Should belong to Schedule Caste community
- Have at least passed matriculation/SSC
- There is no income limit
Documents Requirement
The following documents are required to submit application for loan assistance:
- Passport size photograph of applicant
- Proof of residence
- Birth certificate
- Aadhaar Card
- Bank details (A/c number, IFSC, MICR Code)
- Caste certificate
- First page of passbook or cancelled cheque leaf
- Matric mark sheet
- Class 12-mark sheet (If any)
- other mark sheet (If any)
- Admission letter for pilot training
- Any other document as instructed by authorities
Loan Amount
The loan assistance scheme for scheduled caste students will be provided at a 4% interest rate per annum.
The amount of the loan is ₹ 25 lakh
Conditions
The following conditions will be applicable for repayment of the loan:
- After one year of disbursement of the loan, the repayment will be started
- The loan amount to be paid in installments monthly or quarterly in 10 years.
- After repayment of 25 lakh, the interest amount will also be paid in installments.
- In case of default, additional 2.5% shall be charged as penalty.
- In case of default in loan payment and penalty amount, the total amount will be recovered through Revenue Recovery procedure.
Implementing Office
the District Deputy Director, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Government of Gujarat. manages the loan assistance for pilot training to scheduled caste students under the Digital Gujarat Scholarship.
Application Procedure
The student can visit the nearest scheduled caste welfare office, along with the documents mentioned above. The application form along with all relevant documents can be submitted to the officer concerned at the SCW office.
