Financial Assistance to SC students
This financial assistance to SC students is offered by the Government of Gujarat who are studying in Adarsh Nivasi Shala. Eligibility Criteria for Financial Assistance to SC Students
To avail financial assistance to SC students, following criteria must be met
Permanent Resident of Gujarat
Studying in standard 9 to 12 and belong to the Scheduled Caste Category
Enrolled in Idela Residential Schools
Meritorious students will be selected considering various factors
There are no income criteria; anyone who meets the above requirements can apply
Assistance Details
To promote meritorious students; additional training will be provided to SC students
Up to ₹ 25000/ per student/ per Anum will be spend in this scheme which includes:
- Hostel Expenses ₹ 9000
- Pocket money ₹ 3000
- Books & Stationary ₹ 3000
- Honorarium to Principal-Expert ₹ 10000
Note:
As the lodging and boarding is already free in Ideal Residential School therefore ₹ 9000 will not be paid to students in this scheme

Implementing Office
This financial assistance to SC students under Digital Gujarat Scholarship is managed by the District Deputy Director of Schedule Caste Welfare, Government of Gujarat
Mode of Payment
The scholarship amount will be deposited into the student’s bank account through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) as prescribed by the Government of India. A Computerized management system for scholarships, including e-payment system will be implemented by the administration.
