₹ 300 Coaching Facility in Grant-in-Aid and Government Hostels
The coaching facility for students of classes 8 to 10 residing in hostels for important subjects like Science, Mathematics, and English.
The additional coaching facility for scheduled caste students was launched to assist students who find difficulties in major subjects. This financial support will be provided to hostellers to increase their performance in exams.

Scholarship Amount
The additional coaching facility will be provided for 9 months to students at the following rate:

Document Requirements
The following documents may be required to submit with scholarship application for coaching facility for important subjects such as Science, Mathematics and English:
- Passport size photograph (softcopy)
- Caste Certificate from competent authority
- Income Certificate from the competent authority (Form No. 16 is required for Govt. employees)
- Cancelled cheque book leaf /First page of Bank Passbook
- Mark sheets
- School leaving certificate (If any)
- Proof of Residency
- Fee receipt (If any)
- Hostel certificate (If any)
- Break Affidavit (If any)
- Disability certificate (If any)
- Leave without pay certificate (For employee’s students only) (If applicable)
- Death certificate of father (If applicable)
- Other marksheet (If any)
- Identity card (College/School)
Application Process
The application for additional tuition facility for important subjects will be submitted through the concerned hostel to the principal of the school along with all required documents as prescribed.
The principal of the school will have to submit the proposal of all applications regarding this scheme online at Digital Gujarat Portal.

Payment Method
The students residing in the grant-in-aid/Government Hostels are required to open a bank account, as the payment under this scheme is directly made to the student’s bank account through DBT.
Implement Office
The assistance for academic support for weaker students who are residing in hostels and are from grades 8 to 10 is administered by the District Deputy Director (Schedule Caste Welfare) of the concerned district for urban areas and the Social Welfare Officer (Panchayat) for rural areas, under the Government of Gujarat.
